TomTom iPhone Kit on Sale

Concord, Mass. - The TomTom iPhone car kit is now available in the Apple Store at its previously announced price of $119.

The kit, when combined with a TomTom GPS app for the iPhone (sold separately) essentially turns an iPhone 3G or 3GS into a portable navigation device (PND).

The mounting kit includes a GPS chip to improve GPS reception and a speaker to boost the audio volume. It also has a Bluetooth receiver, and audio out to play music through the car's speakers.

TomTom's turn-by-turn iPhone app debuted in August on Apple's App Store for $99.
