CTA Digital Debuts Cases For Motion-Apps Use

-- TWICE, 10/26/2009

CTA Digital recently introduced two “steering wheels” and a game controller case for use with the iPhone and iPod Touch. The accessories are engineered for users who play motion-sensitive app games on their devices.

Designed as a racing steering wheel, the IP-SWS comes with a steering column stand to add balance and stability, eliminating any unwanted or unnecessary motion, according to CTA Digital. The bottom of the stand has a suction cup that's said to adhere securely to a flat, dust-free surface. The height and angle can also be adjusted.

The IP-SW basic steering wheel is designed to give users the feel of driving a vehicle while twisting the iPhone or Touch from side to side.

The IP-CG game controller grip comes with four attachments. CTA Digital said, “The Grip gives you the feel of playing an actual game-style controller as opposed to making sharp, erratic turns on a small, rectangular smartphone.”

Suggested retails for the products are as follows: IP-SWS, 19.99; IP-SW, $9.99; and IP-CG, $9.99. They are all currently available.
