Epson Intros Flagship Professional 3LCD Projector

Long Beach, Calif. - Epson said Wednesday it is now shipping its new flagship PowerLite Pro 3LCD projector.
The PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL ($20,499 suggested retail) is designed for use in auditoriums and large venues, and features WUXGA (1,920 by 1,200) resolution and 6,000 lumens of color and white light brightness output.
The projector also offers a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, a liquid cooling system, durable optical chips and a dual-lamp design.
The projector includes easy access to lamps and filters for replacement, as well as a recommended 10,000-hour filter cleaning schedule.
For installation flexibility, the Pro Z8000WUNL features a centered lens design, powered focus and zoom, as well as +/- 70 degree vertical and +/- 20 horizontal shift. Epson said the projector can be installed +/- 30-degrees off-axis horizontally and +/- 10-degrees off-axis vertically.
Installers can choose from six optional lenses, including a rear-projection option.
Additional benefits include LAN connectivity, a closed captioning decoder, and Epson's monitoring and control software.
The PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL comes with a three-year limited warranty and includes two elite technical support services - Epson PrivateLine phone, support where projector owners can directly access an expedited support telephone line by using a phone card that is included with the product, and a Road Service projector replacement program, which includes projector exchange typically in one business day.
