New TomTom $239 PND Debuts

Concord, Mass. - TomTom announced a new XL 335S portable
navigation device (PND) - its lowest-priced 4.3-inch model with advanced
features.
At $239 suggested retail, the new PND will be available in time for the holidays. It includes intelligent routing and lane guidance, as well as a 4.3-inch screen, spoken street names and 7 million points of interest.
The XL 335S offers IQ Routes, which uses historical traffic patterns in calculating fastest routes, and it also shows realistic views of complex highway intersections to help users stay in the correct lane.
The XL 335S also has preloaded maps of the U.S. and Canada; it comes with a detachable, foldable car mount.
