iGo Intros Universal Wall Charger

-- TWICE, 10/12/2009

iGo said it would debut a wall charger in October, termed the iGo Charge Anywhere.

Priced at a suggested $49.99, the iGo Charge Anywhere can operate as a wall charger to charge almost any device while simultaneously charging its integrated battery for device charging away from a wall outlet.

Features include two USB outputs, a 6-foot USB charging cable, foldable wall blades and power tips that reportedly work with “almost all” portable CE devices.

More than 95 percent of all mobile electronic devices are covered with one charger, according to the company. Just some of the compatible devices include cellphones from Apple, BlackBerry, Google, LG, Palm, Motorola and Hewlett-Packard; Bluetooth headsets from BlueAnt, Aliph, Jabra, Motorola and Nokia; MP3 players from Microsoft, Apple, SanDisk and Sony; digital cameras from Canon, HP, Kodak and Nikon; and GPS devices from Garmin, Magellan, Navigon and TomTom, among many others.
