Energizer Program Helps Retailers Not Miss A Shot Or A Sale

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 10/12/2009

Audiovox announced over the summer that it would begin rolling out its Energizer “Don't Miss a Shot” battery program at various CE retailers.

The program, which can be found in use at hhgregg, Meijer, Fry's and Ultimate Electronics, is designed to attach battery sales when consumers are purchasing cameras or camcorders.

Battery guides, attached to fact cards or on the camera's signage, identify cameras and camcorders and provide “Quick-Find” symbols. The same Quick-Find symbols are displayed on the packaging of Energizer batteries, allowing consumers to match the corresponding symbols.

A spokesperson for Audiovos said, “Our plan is to continue to match up with new camera/camcorder models, as they come to market. This will also help keep the retailer aware of new battery model needs.”
