Dell Goes To Bat With MLB

New York - Dell today will begin offering a variety of new colors and designs for its laptops, including baseball team logos through the Dell Design Studio.

In a deal with Major League Baseball, Dell will be able to place the logos of all 30 teams, in addition to other baseball-inspired designs, the company said. The logos will be available on Dell Inspiron, Inspiron Mini and Studio laptops.
At the other end of the design spectrum, Dell has partnered with fingernail lacquer experts OPI to come up with 26 high-fashion shades that can be emblazoned on a new laptop.
They have names like Strawberry Margarita, Big Apple Red and I'm Not Really A Waitress. Six of the new colors have a holiday theme, with names like Dear Santa, Merry Midnight and Smitten with Mittens.
All of the colors will be available on the same models as the baseball designs via Dell.com. A selection of the OPI colors will be available at retail, the company said.
