Pentax Launches K-7 Instant Rebate Program

Golden, Colo. - Pentax Imaging said Friday it has launched a $100 instant rebate program on the K-7 digital SLR body and three-lens kit configurations.
The weather and dust resistant K-7 features 14.6 megapixel resolution, a Prime II engine processor, HD video, Live View and shake reduction technology.
The camera was also designed to work with every SLR lens Pentax ever produced, the company said.
The rebate offer will run through Oct. 31, 2009 and will offer instant savings on regular MAP/estimated retail pricing as follows:
The Pentax K-7 body only, which carries a $1,299.95 estimated retail is available for $1,199.95 after rebate.
The K-7 with an 18-55mm WR lens kit which carries a $1,399.95 estimated retail is available for $1,299.95 after rebate.
The K-7 with an 18-55mm WR and 50-200mm WR lens kit, which carries a $1,549.95 estimated retail, is available for $1,449.95 after rebate.
The K-7 with a 16-45mm lens kit, which carries a $1,699.95 estimated retail, will be available for $,1599.95 after rebate.
Pentax said the instant rebate program does not require purchasers to submit or track claims or wait several weeks for a rebate check.
