Witt Leaves Alpine

Torrance, Calif. - Alpine Electronics marketing and product planning VP Steve Witt said he is leaving the car stereo supplier after 27 years for an as-yet-undisclosed post within the automotive electronics category.
Alpine has not yet responded to a TWICE inquiry regarding Witt's replacement.
Witt's resignation is effective today, Sept. 30.
Witt, who is also chairman of the 12-Volt Awareness Initiative board, will retain that post, said the organization.
