HP Intros The DreamScreen

New York - Hewlett-Packard rolled out a new product concept today called DreamScreen.
The Hewlett-Packard DreamScreen
The two DreamScreen devices fall between the basic functionality
delivered by a digital frame and the full-computing experience found in an HP
TouchSmart PC. The DreamScreen 10.2-inch 100 and 13.3-inch 300 are stand-alone
Wi-Fi connected devices that can display and play content streamed either from
the local network or from the Web. Pricing is $249 and $349, respectively.
Each is controlled via a remote control or by several buttons contained on the bezel. They come preloaded with the ability to show Facebook updates as well as access Pandora Internet radio and Snapfish images.
In their initial configuration, the consumer cannot make changes to these sites, but can merely pull content into the DreamScreen.
