TomTom Intros Its First 5-inch PNDs

Concord, Mass. - TomTom announced today its first portable GPS devices with 5-inch screens.
TomTom's XXL 540s
The new TomTom XXL 530S and XXL 540S offer full maps of the U.S.
and Canada and TomTom's map-share technology to allow users to update maps.
They also come with TomTom's foldable mounting bracket and include IQ Routes
that uses historic traffic information to better choose fastest routes.
The XXL 540S adds advanced lane guidance with views of the correct lane to enter in complex highway junctions. It also adds preloaded maps of Mexico and has 7 million points of interest. It comes in a black finish.
The 530S and 540S will ship in October at $279 and $299, respectively.
