ViewSonic Adds6 LCD TVs

WALNUT, CALIF. — ViewSonic said it has added six LCD TVs, several of which offer FullHD 1080p resolution.

The 32-inch VT3245 (available later in September at a $649 suggested retail), 37-inch VT3745 (shipping in October at $799) and 42-inch N4285 (shipping in October at $999) all offer 1,920 by 1080 resolution. Models VT3245 and VT3745 also list a 5ms response time, 4,000:1 static contrast ratio and 3-D video processing.

Both TVs offer extreme picture clarity and SRS TruSurround XT audio surround sound.

The N4285 adds a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and an advanced image-scaling Eco Panel.

Also introduced were three smaller-screen sets, including the 20-inch VT2042 (shipping in September at a $299), 23-inch VT2342 (available now at $349) and 26-inch VT2645 (available this month at $449).

All were designed for use as TVs or monitor.
