SnapAV Offering Free SW Trial

By Alan Wolf -- TWICE, 9/10/2009

SnapAV, a manufacturer of A/V products and accessories for the custom-installation channel, is offering a free six-month trial of bid-proposal software.

The software, developed by BidMagic, enables dealers, installers and integrators to create professional, printed proposals of job bids in less than 10 minutes that are well-organized and database driven. The program can associate products, build packages, and display quotes by room, product category and build-out stage.

SnapAV will send dealers the BidMagic software for a six-month free trial, and during that period will apply a percentage of their purchases of SnapAV products toward the purchase of the software, valued at $1,299.

“This is a partnership between two like-minded companies,” explained SnapAV president Jay Faison. “SnapAV and BidMagic both share a goal of helping custom integrators increase their profits. Between handling the day-in and day-out tasks of product ordering, selling, and installing, an integrators' time is often spread thin. BidMagic is a great tool to help ease the burden of administrative tasks, enabling dealers to focus more on revenue opportunities and selling effectively.”

According to BidMagic president Rich Riehl, “The proposal plays an integral role in the selling process, and integrators should take pride in their presentation … BidMagic creates a system solution to help dealers manage their products, prices and labor.”

Faison added that purchasing sufficient SnapAV product to receive the software for free at the end of the trial period should be “easily obtainable for a custom business of any size.”
