LK Stockroom Joins Edge Group

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — LK Stockroom, a distributor for the custom-installation channel, based here, has joined the Edge Distributors Group.
Edge is an alliance of independently owned, service-oriented regional distributors primarily serving custom-install and residential systems integrators.
LK Stockroom will become Edge's 13th distributor member, and will represent the group throughout Florida.
The company was founded 23 years ago as a rep firm and became a distributor in 1995 “to meet the just-in-time needs of today's custom installer,” said principal Seth Kaplan. “We have set up our market so that our lines are readily on hand as well as profitable for our dealers. We are confident that this success will serve The Edge Group, vendor partners and customers alike.”
Ron Harker, Edge's newly named executive director, described LK Stockroom as “a valuable addition to the group. Their years of experience and commitment to installers demonstrate the core values on which Edge was founded.”
LK Stockroom is headquartered in a 2,275-square-foot office/warehouse facility that houses three inside sales staffers and supports an outside sales team of four.
Harker, president of Edge member CTD Marketing, has served on Edge's board and on rep councils for LG and Denon. He began his CE career in 1987 at Highland Appliance and later worked for retailers Sound Pro and Classic Stereo before joining CTD in 1993.
