Dick Komiyama, longtime Sony Electronics executive and president of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, will retire at the end of the year, and Bert Nordberg will join the company as co-president on Sept. 1. Nordberg is currently executive VP of the Ericsson Group and head of Ericsson Silicon Valley and will become president on Oct. 15. Komiyama joined Sony Ericsson as president in November 2007 from his post as chairman of Sony Electronics USA. In addition, Sir Howard Stringer, chairman, CEO and president, Sony Corporation, will add the duties of chairman at Sony Ericsson on Oct. 15. He will succeed Carl-Henric Svanberg, who continues as president and CEO of Ericsson ... Best Buy has promoted customer experience senior VP Tim Sheehanto enterprise retail operations executive VP, and has added executive VP to chief marketing officer Barry Judge's title, reflecting expanded global responsibilities for both … Former MyerEmco president and current Consumer Electronics Association chairman Gary Yacoubian has joined Monster to fill the company's newly created position of strategic development VP ... Dave Gatto has been named Incase's CEO, replacing Erik Walhstrom, one of the company's founders, who continues to serve at Incase as executive sales and business development executive VP ... Steven Colky has joined Technical Pro Electronics as U.S. sales director ... Ron Harker, president of CTD Marketing, was named executive director of the Edge Distributors Group, a 13-member distributor alliance serving the custom A/V channel … Kevin DeNuccio, vice chairman of Redback Networks, a subsidiary of L.M. Ericsson, andDr. Chenming Calvin Hu, a TSMC distinguished chair professor at the University of California, Berkeley, have been added to SanDisk's board.
