iHome Intros Headphone Speaker System

Rahway, N.J. — iHome introduced a pair of over-the-ear headphones earlier this month that can double as a speaker system.
The iHMP5 2-in-1 stereo speaker/headphone system features an inline pre-amp that, when activated, can fill a room with stereo sound, according to the company.
Offered in three colors (purple, red and gray), the headphones have 50mm drivers, noise-isolation ear cups and a volume-control dongle with clip. It comes with an adjustable headband and powered by two AAA batteries.
The headphones are currently available for a $ 59.99 suggested retail.
