AT&T iPhone App Sets DVRs

Dallas — AT&T U-verse TV customers can now program their digital video recorder from their iPhone.

AT&T released Thursday an Apple App Store free application that lets users search through U-verse TV listings and schedule program recordings from an iPhone or iPod Touch.

Users can view descriptions of selected programs, manage or edit scheduled recordings, and delete stored DVR content.

AT&T says the iPhone app, called U-verse TV Mobile Remote Access App, also includes features currently being rolled out to customers. One new feature lets users schedule and delete recordings from any U-verse receiver in the home, from a single DVR.

the AT&T Navigator for the iPhone offering turn-by-turn directions. It is available on the Apple App Store for $9.99/month.
