RadioShack Names New CIO
By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 6/22/2009
Fort Worth, Texas — RadioShack has named Sharon Stufflebeme as its new senior VP and chief information officer (CIO).
She joins the chain from 7-Eleven, where she held the same post.
“Sharon has extensive experience in the management and strategic development of information technology,” said RadioShack chairman/CEO Julian Day, to whom Stufflebeme reports. “Her disciplined approach will help RadioShack drive technology solutions to help achieve our business goals and operating initiatives.”
Stufflebeme succeeds IT senior VP Cara Kinzey, who left the company last year for the same post at The Home Depot. Kinzey succeeded CIO Don Vietti in 2006, who in turn replaced the retiring Evelyn Follit in 2005.
