BDI Bows Avion Series II Line

By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 6/15/2009

Chantilly, Va. — BDI introduced a line of home-theater cabinets, known as the Avion series II.

The series is offered in espresso stained oak or natural stained cherry and offers such features as quick-release, soft-close hinges; stainless-steel base; hidden wheels; gray-tinted windows, for use with IR remotes; integrated cable management, including routing pathways and Velcro enclosures; and removable back panels. Flow-through ventilation throughout the cabinet promotes air flow to keep electronics cool, said the company.

The line consists of four models, all of which are scheduled to ship in the next month or two:

·         The Avion series II 8925 ($1,395 suggested retail), a two-compartment wide cabinet with additional storage for media or gaming consoles, is designed to accommodate up to a 55-inch flat-panel TV.

·         The Avion series II 8927 ($1,695), a three-compartment wide cabinet, is designed for use with up to a 60-inch flat panel TV.

·         The Avion series II 8928 ($1,595) features a two-compartment wide lower cabinet with center gaming console area and a multifunction top compartment. It designed for use with a flat-panel or rear-projection TV measuring up to 50 inches.

·         The Avion series II 8929 ($1,995), a four-compartment wide cabinet, is designed to accommodate up to a 70-inch flat-panel or rear-projection TV.
