Optoma Teams With Peerless

By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 6/1/2009

Optoma, a manufacturer of digital projection and display devices, announced it had teamed up with Peerless to debut a universal ceiling mount.

The Optoma universal mount, developed by Peerless, features two adjustment mechanisms control precision gears that enable front/back pitch and side-to-side tilt adjustments for delivering pinpoint image alignment. The mount's cable-management system is designed to let installers create a clean, streamlined installation. Other features include a quick-release mechanism for easy removal for service, and security hardware to help prevent theft.

“This partnership is a win-win for pro A/V installers,” said Jon Grodem, Optoma's product and marketing director, in a statement. “With one contact point, anyone looking for a ceiling installation solution can get a projector and mount of uncompromising quality that work seamlessly together. It simplifies ordering, increases efficiency and saves time.”

The universal ceiling mount will begin shipping at the end of May, and has an estimated street price of $159.
