Barkan Bows LCD Mounts

NEW YORK — Barkan Mounts introduced two wall mounts that will be available in the summer.

The 33E is designed to work with LCD TVs measuring up to 42 inches and weighing up to 66 pounds. It features the company's “Butterfly Connection” and can reportedly integrate with the rear side design of slim and ultra-slim LCD screens.

Its minimum distance from the wall is listed as 3.5 inches with a maximum distance from wall listed at 8.25 inches. Three electronic movements are possible: rotate, swivel and tilt.

Other features include silent operation with auto centering and “return to home” with a single touch. A cable-management system is included.

The 43E carries many of the same features as the 33E, including single-touch “return to home,” three electronic movements and silent operation. The 43E is engineered to operate with LCD TVs measuring up to 50 inches and weighing up to 110 pounds.

Its minimum distance from the wall is listed as 2.75 inches, with the maximum distance listed as 7.5 inches.

Pricing for either model was not determined by Barkan at press time.
