Sakar Digicam Battery Charger Features LCD Readout

Edison, N.J. — Sakar International is offering consumers “everything they ever wanted in a digital camera battery charger.” The company's new USB/AC/DC 90-minute charger package includes four AA 2400mAh nickel-cadmium batteries that never retain a charging memory, said Sakar.

The device recharges camera batteries using just about any power source available, said the company, either 120-volt house current, AC auto/boat/airplane power, or even a laptop or PC using the built-in USB plug,

Called model CH-5600, Sakar said the product is its most innovative charger, which features an LCD display that tells users how long before charging is complete, and recharges AA or AAA digital camera batteries in 90 minutes or less.

Suggested retail is $39.99, and the charger will be available in May.
