Staff -- TWICE, 11/12/2001

GM began producing Cadillac cars with XM satellite radios last week making it the first automaker to offer satellite radio. According to Cadillac General marketing manager Mark LaNeve, the company was able to produce the radios in less than 18 months representing one of the fastest technology rollouts in GM history.

Cadillac is offering XM as an option on the 2002 DeVille and Seville models; and GM will expand availability to over 20 additional models in 2003.
