CHICAGO -Digital Innovations has introduced motorized versions of its SkipDoctor MD and GameDoctor MD scratch-repair devices for audio CDs, CD-ROMs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, photo CDs, PlayStation and PS2 game CDs and DVDs.

The motorized units are a natural extension of the manual SkipDoctor and GameDoctor introduced in 1999, the company said, and make repair of damaged or dirty discs even easier and more convenient.

The Digital Innovations' 2-pound device comes with two-position directional trigger switch, mo-mentary switch and 8-foot power cord for a suggested $54.95 retail. Availability was Dec. 1.
