Canon Intros High-End Photo All-in-One

Lake Success, N.Y. — Canon added a new photo all-in-one to its Pixma-branded printer lineup with the introduction of the new MP950.
The MP950 features a 3.6-inch LCD screen, a seven-color ink system with one picoliter droplets for a resolution up to 9600 by 2400 dpi, memory card slots and PictBridge-compatibility for PC-free printing, and two paper trays. The unit can print two-sided documents, including photos with select papers.
The MP950 can accept wireless images with built-in IrDA support or with an optional Bluetooth adapter.
It can crank out a borderless 4-inch by 6-inch print in 46 seconds using default settings.
Dedicated photo/film buttons enable consumers to make reprints of photos or 35mm film without a PC.
The 48-bit color scanner features a resolution up to 3200 dpi and can accommodate up to 12 frames of 35mm film (negatives or positives), or up to eight mounted slides.
The MP950 ships at the end of the month for an estimated $449.99.
