LTB Intros True 5.1/6-Channel Wireless Headphones

Teterboro, N.J. — LTB (Listen To Believe) Audio Systems, a manufacturer of 5.1 headphone technology, is making available a new line of True Digital 2.4GHz wireless headphones, including the True 5.1 version, said to be the “world's first true six-channel wireless headphone system. The headphones utilize a non-compressed audio/video system said to be ideal for home theater and console gaming.
The 5.1 technology in wired headphones takes a leap into a high-fidelity digital wireless product that utilizes ac3 input from digital audio sources and creates a true six-channel, distortion-free listening experience with the convenience of personal headphones.
The 6-channel wireless headphones, called Cinema 1, offer a multiband digital-quality sound in true 5.1, and are designated for DVD, HDTV, game console or high-definition audio. Suggested retail is $345, and the headphones are expected to be available in February.
LTB also said it plans to introduce several new two-way communication headphone systems based on Bluetooth Classic 1 and 2.4GHz 2.1 stereo that will enable VoIP and interactive audio on wireless headphones.
