OmniMount Plasma System Handles 63-Inch Displays

Phoenix — Plasma displays of up to 63 inches and 200 pounds can be mounted on the new U3 Tilt Plasma Mounting System from Omnimount.
The U3 wall plate is 32 inches wide and designed for mounting to 16 inches through 24 inches on center wall studs, and uses slotted mounting holes for quick alignment. The mount is expandable by including extension rods and rails that allow for mounting of plasma displays from 32 inches up to 63 inches.
Ease of installation and cleanup is a key selling point, said Omnimount, following the included simple directions in the company's Fast Installation Guide.
The U3 contains a comprehensive installation package and hardware kit, including spacers that allow the installation of plasma displays with curved backs and recessed mounting lands.
Other features are J-box access for ease of access to electrical and video sources, a padlock security feature and a J-box cover for cleaner installation.
The mount is finished in a durable platinum satin powder coat and has a suggested $249 retail.
