Sennheiser Intros 3 Headphones

Staff -- TWICE, 1/8/2002

Sennheiser is introducing HD 280 Pro headphones, which are engineered to deliver exceptional isolation from ambient noise, with precise and linear sound reproduction at high SPLs, coupled with innovative, fold-up design for compact portability.

The HD 280 Pro, from the Old Lyme, Conn.-based company, offers form-fitting, ergonomically-designed circumaural ear pieces that remain comfortable for long periods of listening, and can be rotated for flat mobility and space-saving transport. Suggested retail is $199.

Sennheiser's HD 477 and HD 497 headphones are the latest models in the company's 400 Series. Developed for a younger, on-the-move market, the 400 Series is highlighted by stylish design and affordable price points.

The two new models have been optimized to provide a wide dynamic range and robust, full-bodied base, even at low or medium volumes. The HD 497 has extended response at both ends of the musical spectrum, 24-22,000 Hz, while the HD 477 boasts a frequency response of 37-21,000 Hz.

Suggested retails are $49.95 for the HD 477 and $59.95 for the HD 497.
