In-Store Machine Saves DVD/CD Repair Cost

Staff -- TWICE, 6/21/2004

A machine designed for video store retailers is said to provide innovative DVD/CD repair and maintenance technology. The unit, from VenMill Industries, is easy to operate, inexpensive and fast, according to the company.

The VMI 3500 is geared toward video rental stores and other retail outlets that rent DVDs and CDs for movies and games, or sell used DVDs.

VenMill estimates a retailer that rents 1,250 to 1,800 DVDs per week could save $350 to $750 when discs are repaired upon return to the store.

The VMI 3500 is available immediately for a suggested $1,999.99.
