Malone Named President Of Audiovox Electronics

Hauppauge, N.Y. — Audiovox Corp. has promoted Tom Malone to the position of president of its Audiovox Electronics subsidiary, which markets vehicle and consumer electronics products.

Malone, a 20-year Audiovox veteran, was formerly mobile electronics senior VP for Audiovox Electronics. He joined the company in 1986 as a vehicle security specialist.

The post of president of Audiovox Electronics has remained vacant since former president Patrick Lavelle was promoted to president and CEO of parent Audiovox Corp. several years ago.

Audiovox Electronics’ products include mobile video, auto sound, navigation and satellite radio.
