Newark, Del. — Theater Xtreme, a retailer and installer that specializes in front-projection “movie theaters for the home,” has announced plans to launch an online retail store.
According to a release, the company is currently in the final stages of preparing the site for launch and expects it to be open for business early in the fourth quarter.
“There is a substantial revenue opportunity in the online retail channel that we are eager to leverage,” said Theater Xtreme CEO Scott Oglum.
The company says the site will allow customers to design custom movie theaters for their homes and will let customers purchase individual items such as projectors, cables, furnishings and accessories or to purchase preconfigured theater room packages.
In other Theater Xtreme news, the company also recently approved plans for new franchise locations in Alpharetta, Ga. and Roseville, Calif. The company expects both of those locations to be open by December.
