Gateway Intros New Tablet PCs

Gateway has updated its convertible notebook lin e with the introduction of the M285-E and CX210.

The new units, which replace the M280 and CX200, follow Gateway's practice of combining a full-fledged notebook computer's with Tablet PC functionality. The M-285-E will ship first into the enterprise and education markets, with the CX200 heading for the retail market in late May. The M285-E will carry a $1,399 price tag. The CX200 price tag has not been set.

The models are available with Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Core and Duo Core processors. Each has a 14-inch touch screen, an ATI Mobility Radeon x1400 or Intel GMA 950 graphics card, and they can be ordered with a variety of memory and hard-drive options.
