Bogen Kata Bags Combine Hard, Soft Qualities

Ramsey, N.J. — Ergonomic design shapes the launch of a Kata-brand global digital collection of portable storage for digital cameras. Available from Bogen Imaging, the collection comprises about 17 individual products, the modular design of which allows for an infinite range of custom-made protective carrying solutions.
The Kata-brand look is obvious in the collection, due to its ergonomic design and vibrant, scratch and static resistant "yelloop" internal fabric. The bags' outer shell is formed in a protective "rib shape" construction, with nylon fabric repelling water and dust. Bags offer the protection of a hard case but the comfort and weight of a soft bag.
Recognizing the need for a carrying solution to fit any number of situations, Kata bags have a modular design. For example, the W-92 waist pack attaches to the R-102 rucksack to create a large backpack, while the T-212 torso pack and Teddy-2 backpack combine to make a high storage volume solution with optimal weight distribution.
Suggested retail for the small backpack rucksack is $134.95, while a large camera case with outer shell made of the "rib-shape" construction is $39.95.
Six new additions have been made to the Delsey-brand of Pro and GoPix line of camera bags — all smaller versions of the parent-line products, carrying the same brand name. All six come equipped with the style and protective capabilities of predecessor bags, made by Paris-based Delsey and sold by Bogen
The line includes the Pro Bag 5, Pro Trolley 50, Pro Digital Back-pack 31 and the GoPix 5.
The Pro Digital Backpack 31, at a suggested $113.95 retail, offers padded main and notebook compartments, padded adjustable harness system, extreme weather cover and Delsey's triangular wings for instant access.
GoPix 5 is available in black and red, green and blue, or black and gray at a suggested $5.95 retail. The central compartment is perfect for a compact digital camera, compact 35mm point-and-shoot, pocket binoculars, cellphone, PDA and MP3 player, or as a dedicated accessories compartment for film and/or batteries.
