SBCA Joins DTV Transition Group

Washington — The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) said Friday that it has joined the Digital Television (DTV) Transition Coalition.

The DTV Transition Coalition, spearheaded by the National Association of Broadcasters, is comprised of businesses, trade and industry groups, and grassroots and membership organizations.

The core mission of the coalition is to educate the American public about the scheduled switch from analog to digital television broadcasting on Feb. 17, 2009.
