Belkin Bows Car Chargers, Laptop Desk

COMPTON, CALIF. — Belkin debuted two new iPod/iPhone chargers that are designed for use in automobiles. It also introduced a laptop desk.

The Micro Auto charger is engineered to be compact and sit nearly flush with the dashboard. It charges at 1 amp and is expected to be available in May for $14.99. At $19.99, an iPhone and iPod charging sync cable is included with the charger.

The Dual Auto charger features two USB ports, so users can charge two devices simultaneously. One quick-charge port powers at 1 amp, and the second port charges at 500 milliamps, said Belkin. It is currently available for $29.99.

Meant to let users operate their laptop almost anywhere, the CushDesk features a solid, molded top and is designed with a with a slight angle for more comfortable viewing. It can be used with laptops with up to a 17-inch display. It's currently available for a $29.99 suggested retail.

The CushDesk comes in the following colors: black/gray, espresso/fuchsia, black/black and black/Dark Sky.
