SanDisk Uses Flash-Memory Sales To Fight Alzheimer's

Milpitas, Calif. — SanDisk launched a pair of special edition flash-memory products with a pledge to contribute $1 of the sale, up to a total of $1 million, to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Take Action Against Alzheimer’s products will include a 2GB Ultra II SD card and 2GB Cruzer Micro USB flash drive, for $44.99 and $39.99, respectively. They will be housed in purple packaging, the color of the Alzheimer's Association.

The products are currently available at select Best Buy stores with wider availability slated for October, SanDisk said.
