Sony Ships New CD/Receivers

SAN DIEGO — Sony announced two new Xplod in-dash CD receivers that bring USB flash-media support to the company's budget-priced models.
The CDX-GT920U has a rear USB flash-drive input with a Quick Browzer feature for navigating through playlists. The unit is compatible with HD Radio, iPods, satellite radio and has a front-panel auxiliary jack. It has a motorized fold-out detachable face and switchable illumination and will ship in June for approximately $250.
A step down version, model CDX-GT620U, has a front USB input with Quick Browzer and front-panel auxiliary input. It has a flip-down detachable faceplate and is shipping now for approximately $170.
Both models offer three pre-outs; 52 watts x 4 power; MP3, non-DRM AAC and non-DRM WMA playback; and a wireless card remote.
