Hitachi Adds Light, Bright 3LCD Projector

Chula Vista, Calif. — Hitachi’s business group introduced on Monday its CP-X2510 compact 3LCD projector, featuring XGA resolution, 2,600 lumens brightness and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio.

installed and carried. The unit adds 16 watts of built-in audio, a low-noise-rating operating level of 29dB in Eco Mode and a hybrid filter that needs replacement only once every 5,000 hours.

The projector also uses less than 5 watts in power in saving mode.

Lamp life is rated at 3,000 hours in standard mode and 6,000 hours in Eco mode.

Hitachi included in the unit its proprietary “My Buttons functionality,” which allows two buttons on the projector to be programmed to execute any projector command.Users can name and rename input sources to fit their needs.

For security, the CP-X2510 features a “transition detector” to prevent use by unauthorized personnel. The

projector will not function without a password after being moved from a fixed position.

The CP-X2510 also offers PIN Lock and MyScreen functions, along with a security bar that enables the use of a heavy chain to prevent theft.
