Westinghouse Shows Four New Monitors

Westinghouse Digital will unveil four LCD monitors, including a 24W-inch that can work in an entertainment and traditional PC environment.

The L2410NM, shipping this month with a $699 suggested retail price, has a 1,920 by 1,200 maximum resolution and a 6 millisecond response time making it suitable for watching movies or playing video games, the company said. The unit uses Westinghouse's AllGlass design that has a minimal bezel and HD-Grade panels utilizing Westinghouse's HDTV glass and DayBright panel technology, the company said. Other features include a 1000:1 contrast ratio, HDMI, HDCP, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

In the 22W-inch category the company is introducing the LCM22w3. Shipping in March with a $449 suggested retail price, the LCM22w3 has DVI-HDCP inputs, 1,680 by 1,050 screen resolution and a 5 millisecond screen response time and the same industrial design as the L2410M.

The 20-inch L2046NV is the lone new offering with a 4:3 aspect ratio. It ships in March with a $349 suggested retail price. Its basic features are a 1,400 by 1.050 resolution, 650:1 contrast ratio, 5 millisecond screen response time and DVI-D and VGA PC inputs.

The final CES entry is the L1975NW. This is a 19W-inch with a 1,440 by 900 resolution, 5 millisecond screen response rate, 700:1 contrast ratio and uses what Westinghouse is calling a Microsoft Vista concept for its over all design.
