Pentax Offers Instant Rebates On 2 DSCs

Golden, Colo. – In time for Mother’s Day and upcoming graduations, Pentax Imaging began today an instant rebate program that runs through May 9 on two of its most popular digital cameras.
Under the program, consumers will receive a $30 instant rebate on the Pentax X70 Megazoom camera and a $50 instant rebate on the Pentax K2000 digital SLR single lens kit.
The compact X70 features a 24X zoom and 12 megapixels of resolution. The K2000 is Pentax’s entry-level digital SLR which ships with a DA L 18-55mm lens.
Consumers who purchase either camera during the limited time offer will receive instant savings off the camera’s regular minimum advertised prices, which are $399.95 for the X70 and $549.95 for the K2000, before rebate. Pricing may vary.
The program is said to offer several consumer advantages. There is no need to submit or track claims or wait up to eight weeks for a rebate check that needs to be signed and deposited.
