Allsop Debuts Cool Channel Platform

BELLINGHAM, WASH. — Designed as a protective armor and lap stand combination for notebook computers, Allsop's Cool Channel Platform is made of a mesh fabric with an anti-static coating over a structural case that doubles as a lap stand.

It also helps battery life by cooling the computer itself, Allsop said.

Scheduled to become available this month, it measures 2 inches by 14.25 inches by 9.75 inches, and is offered in dark gray.

The Cool Channel Platform has a $39.99 suggested retail.
