Belkin Licenses Stanley Surge Line

COMPTON, CALIF. -- Belkin Components is introducing a Stanley-brand line of surge protectors, power strips and extension cords. Products are shipping in September.

The Belkin-made Stanley Power Protection line, which includes surge protectors and power strips, is divided into three home- and small office-use grades: General Purpose, Computer and Electronics.

The units feature convenient hanging holes for ease of storage, rubber outlet covers for extra safety, and a cable management system to wrap excess cord while storing. The General Purpose grade of extension cords is geared for homes and home offices.

The licensed Stanley line will primarily be sold through hardware retailers, with retail prices ranging from $1.49 to $69.99.
