Boston Debuts Compact CD Radio, Speakers

LAS VEGAS — Boston Acoustics is introducing a compact stereo CD radio, iPod speaker system, a 100-watt powered subwoofer and an indoor/outdoor speaker systems during International CES in the Las Vegas Hilton, suite 28-105.
The Horizon Trio, with a $499 suggested retail, is a compact stereo CD radio with graphic LCD display, 360-degree snooze bar and POP grille options.
The iDS3 ($499) is Boston Acoustics' flagship iPod speaker system that includes a wireless subwoofer, two midrange drivers and POP grille options, the company said.
The SoundWare subwoofer ($399) is a polyhedron shaped 100-watt powered subwoofer that complements products in the the compnay's award-winning indoor/outdoor SoundWare speaker designed for commercial applications. It is designed for indoor-only use.
Finally, the SoundWare XL ($249) is a larger version of the SoundWare speaker, the company said.
Shipment dates should be available from Boston Acoustics during CES.
