Whirlpool Leads In Ads

NIAGRA FALLS, N.Y. — — NIAGRA FALLS, N.Y. —Whirlpool was the most advertised majap brand in the laundry and kitchen categories in July.
According to IFR Monitoring, a market research firm based here, Whirlpool brand was featured in 19 percent of laundry print ads and 18.8 percent of print ads for kitchen products, followed by Maytag (15.9 percent) in laundry and Frigidaire (18.2 percent) in kitchen.
Nevertheless, LG had the five most heavily advertised laundry models in July (four washers and one dryer), while Frigidaire's FRT18B5JW refrigerator was the most advertised kitchen product in print, followed by Samsung's RF267ABRS fridge.
