Energizer Brings Six Models To Power Protection Market

By Staff -- TWICE, 1/9/2003

Energizer has entered the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) market with six models designed to protect consumer electronics and small business users from power disruptions. Technuity, a supply-chain management solutions provider, has been named exclusive distributor for the line.

Designed to protect PCs and home theater systems from power surges, spikes, brownouts and outages, the all-in-one offerings automatically save open files and power down systems when threatening power irregularities arise.

The six models include the ER-HM400 for the personal user, the ER-HMOF600 for the home office user and the ER-HT400 for the home theater enthusiast.

Full-line features include FileSaver software, visual and audio warning indicators, up to 32 minutes of run time, Internet-ready phone/fax modem hookups, equipment protection policy up to $100,000, automatic voltage regulation, two to six backup outlets, user-replaceable batteries and USB connectivity.

Suggested retails range from $59.99 to $279.99.
