Moxell Announces Proview, MAG Products

Moxell Technology, a Proview International subsidiary specializing in CE entertainment products, formally announced models and pricing in its initial Proview and MAG Innovisions lines.

In total, the company has just started shipping to dealers seven flat-panel displays, including six Proview models and one MAG LCD TV. Screen sizes range from 14W inches to 42W inches, and all will feature built-in speakers with SRS WOW/BBE sound enhancement, auto volume level controls and PC compatibility.

Proview models are highlighted by the MH-422SU, $2,499.99 suggested retail, 42W-inch EDTV plasma monitor, featuring 852 by 480 resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, DVI with HDCP input and dual NTSC tuners.

The line will also include five LCD TVs, headed by three high-definition models: the 30W-inch HX-303, $2,499.99 suggested retail; the 26W-inch HX-263,$1,999.99; and the 17W-inch HV-177, $799.99. All are HDTV monitors with 1,280 by 768 pixel resolution. The 30W-inch and 26W-inch models also feature DVI-with HDCP inputs.

Also offered are two Proview EDTV LCD displays including the 20-inch HV-207, $799.99, and the 14-inch HV-147, $499.99. The 20-inch model offers 800 by 600 resolution, while the HV-147 offers 640 by 480 resolution.

The lone MAG Innovations model is the 20-inch HD-202AT, $699.99 EDTV-level LCD TV monitor with 800 by 600 resolution.

Moxell said it also plans to expand the lines with more plasma displays, microdisplay projection products, digital and analog CRT TV's, multiformat LCD combination products and digital cameras.
