Fujifilm Launches New Web Site

By Staff -- TWICE, 11/3/2008

Fujifilm launched a new online photo-sharing and print Web site late last month.

SeeHere.com lets users edit images, add effects, and create customized URLs and photo blogs. Consumers can also order prints, posters and merchandise such as photo books, calendars and greeting cards.

All the products can be customized by consumers using tools provided on the site.

Fujifilm will sell a 4- by 6-inch photo for 12 cents as it wades in against established competitors such as Kodak's Gallery, Flickr and Shutterfly.

Fujifilm's Fujicolor Processing wholesale lab will produce the orders. At this time, the Web site does not support sending print orders to third party retailers. According to a company spokesperson, they "hope to have such a service offering in the future."

Consumers can upload an unlimited number of high-resolution digital files to the site.

The online site will be complemented with a desktop application that lets users create photo gifts offline.
