Belkin Offers USB Switching Solution

Staff -- TWICE, 12/3/2001

Belkin is debuting a 4-Port USB Switch that is designed to allow users to share any USB device with up to four USB-enabled desktop or notebook computers.

Called F1U200, the device offers users the familiar look and feel of the classic BusStation modular mold, said Belkin. Suggested retail is $39.99.

Belkin also said it has expanded its Home Networking line with the introduction of three new products.

Launched at the beginning of August, these include Network Switches — the 5-Port, F5D5130-5, at a suggested $69.99 and the 8-Port, F5D5130-8, at a suggested $89.99. A 4-Port Broadband Gateway Router, F5D5230-4, at a suggested $129.99, also is available.
