New York — BodySound Technologies is offering the BodySound chair with internal amplifier that delivers full-spectrum sound and audio-induced vibration to the user's body, while providing safe ambient sound levels to the ears.
Consumers can personalize their sound space to allow multiple users in the same room to hear and feel movie soundtracks, television and music at different volume/intensity levels.
Switch-activated sound modules in the chair back and seat cushions create a movie-theater experience in the user's home. The chair's amplifier can automatically lower the volume during commercials and increase the volume of hard-to-hear movie segments. Sound is delivered right through the body so the user actually becomes part of the experience, said the company, which focuses on products that “enrich life.”
