Protective Cases For Satellite Dishes Debut

By Staff -- TWICE, 12/8/2003

As a substitution for the traditional dish antenna, International Trade Business (ITB) is offering CubSat. Called a new generation of dish antenna, CubSat is built to resist weather-related damage, as well as to remain discreet from landlords, homeowner associations and neighbors.

The CubSat dish antenna is built in a case molded from ABS plastic, that permits perfect reception of analog, digital and high-definition programs. It can be half buried in the garden, painted, fixed on a wall or put down on the ground.

The size and shape of CubSat allow an almost invisible installation anywhere, said ITB. No tools are needed for set-up, and it works with any satellite provider, such as DirecTV or Dish Network.

For use with DirecTV, a CubSat 50 handles one LNB F and one DBS output for a suggested $199 retail. Another CubSat 50 handles one LNB F and two DBS outputs for a suggested $219 retail.

A CubSat 70 is designed for one LNB F and two I DBS outputs at a suggested $279 retail. Another CubSat 70 is designed for one LNB phase III ODU and four outputs at a suggested $349 retail. Product is available.

For use with the Dish Network, the CubSat 70 handles two LNB and two DBS outputs for a suggested $349 retail. Product is available.
